We are currently seeking a proficient Business Analyst & Tester to join our team at our Luxembourg headquarters. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to fulfill functional requirements and oversee the testing processes of our software products. Your involvement will be critical across the application lifecycle, from initial design phases to final deliveries, actively engaging in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume ownership of testing activities, encompassing the documentation of test cases, execution of tests, and generation of reports, ensuring alignment with defined requirements and adherence to quality standards.
- Contribute to writing software specifications and defining corresponding test plans.
- Monitor the bug fixing process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
- Evaluate the production delivery risks of product versions and provide relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of conducted tests, methodologies employed, and established processes.
- Provide support for user training and the creation of user manuals as necessary.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated and integration tests into the continuous integration platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BAC +4) in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven work experience as a Business Analyst and Tester, preferably within a software development context.
- Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into comprehensive unit and solution level test cases.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with fluency in both French and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Familiarity with Java, SQL, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, CSS, Perl, as well as Source Control and Configuration Management tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with VM Ware, Unix/Lunix is advantageous.
- Experience in developing tools for and working within a continuous integration environment (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus.
- Experience in GUI test automation (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
